God gave me this gift of a son, and one day another
woman will hold the hand that holds mine now. She'll
gaze into his eyes that cry to have me. She'll kiss
away tears that only I can comfort. But I know God is
good, and He did not give me this gift just to have it
stolen. So I will be a good mother, and my son will
love me. When he gets married, he will tell me
happily, and I will be proud of how he's managed and
grown right before my eyes. I will hold grandchildren
how I hold him now, and I will see him in their eyes,
feel him when I kiss their cheeks and rub their skin,
